Practice Changes March 2nd – 5th

It is March 1st, and inevitably we have 6 inches of snow on the ground and a forecast that doesn’t look good for the first week of outdoor practice with temps under 30.  Therefore, we are going to make some substantial changes to the practice calendar that was handed out previously.  Remember that we will always update the calendar found on our team website to reflect any changes as well.  Here is our (updated) plan for this week:

Monday – No Practice
Tuesday – No Practice
Wednesday – No Practice
Thursday – 6th Grade Only (Indoors @ High School) 3:15 – 4:45pm
Friday – 7th & 8th Grade Only (Indoors @ High School) 3:15 – 4:45pm

Remember, we are a team without a suitable indoor practice space, so this is really our only option until the weather gets a little nicer outside. Next week’s forecast is looking much better, so we are anticipating practice on all 5 days.

Lastly, Fleet Feet in Bloomington will be hosting a team “Gear Up” night for our track team this Wednesday, March 4.  Athletes and parents may show up anytime between 3pm-7pm and receive 15% off all purchases (excluding sale items and electronics).  In addition, 5% of all total sales will be donated back to our team. This a great opportunity to get a pair of running shoes that are professionally fit to your foot.
